SPECIAL SEWING MACHINE

The machine mod. G164U is a special sewing machine with high sewing speed up to 1900 Rpm, designed for closing various types of upholstery for sofas and products of different shapes and sizes as well as polyurethane batts and carded fiber.

It consists of a special sewing head, a work table equipped with a 2500 x 500 mm conveyor belt whose movement is synchronised with the speed of the sewing head to facilitate the sewing process even with large products, an Efka control unit, two mobile pedals to control the main functions (ascent / descent of the conveyor belt – opening / closing of the plates / sewing / thread trimmer at the end of the seam).

The operator works in an upright position obtaining a better performance and control on the executed piece: he/she can operate in two positions, in front or behind the sewing head according to the processing and the table can adapt to the two working positions by sliding on guides.

The special plate system and the upper plate guide the edges of the fabric evenly ensuring a high quality and tight stitching. Height and distance between points are adjustable.

MAIN FEATURES

• Special stitching point: it has been specially designed for a flat seam suitable for sewing polyurethane batts and flaps for the interiors of sofas.
• It avoids the gluing of the polyurethane batts.
• Suitable for sewing large sofa backrests and seats, allowing a single operator to perform the sewing thanks to the conveyor belt.
