Our History

1960
1970
2013

It all started in a small workshop, where the forward-looking entrepreneur Antonio Brighi repaired sewing machines for the apparel industry. Driven by passion and vision, he laid the foundation of what would become a journey of innovation.

1970

The launch of the G164 marked a shift. Designed not for apparel, but for upholstered furniture, this sewing machine could close cushions without glue—stitching edge to edge. A bold idea, marking the entry into the bedding, upholstery and home textile markets.

1985

With the new millennium Brighi stepped onto the international stage taking part to its very first international trade show: Interzum, in Cologne. From that moment on, Brighi became regular exhibitor at some of the most important industry events worldwide.

2003

It was launched the company’s first complete and fully automatic line for pillow production. For the first time, a single system managed every stage of the process: from raw material handling to the final packaging. This solution became the first Brighi line sold on the U.S. market.

2015

With the acquisition of MECC, the company welcomed a new division specializing in foam-making machinery. This expansion strengthened the technological offering and opened the mattresses business.

2018

The great demand from the American market led to the opening of a subsidiary and warehouse in the U.S., built on a trusted partnership with the construction company Two State.

2021

Today

Today, Brighi is a fast-growing company, with the opening of new production sites in the territory, expansion of the machine fleet and increase in its team. In addition to bedding, home textile and foam making, the company is also active in the production of machines for recycling and waste processing.
